Virtual PC installation step by step

Windows Virtual PC is a virtualization program for Microsoft Windows.

Virtual PC virtualizes a standard PC and its associated hardware. You  can create separate virtual machines on your Windows desktop, each of which virtualizes the hardware of a complete physical computer. Use virtual machines to run operating systems such as MS-DOS, Windows, and OS/2.

You can run multiple operating systems at once on a single physical computer and switch between them as easily as switching applications—instantly, with a mouse click. Virtual PC is perfect for any scenario in which you need to support multiple operating systems

Requirments

CPU: 400 MHz Pentium-compatible processor (1.0 GHz or faster recommended), 
HD Space: Approximately 35 MB Free Space
Supporting OS: Windows Vista Business, Windows Vista Enterprise, Windows Vista Ultimate, Windows XP Professional, Windows XP Tablet PC Edition, Windows Vista Service Pack 1 (SP1) (Enterprise, Business, Ultimate), and Windows XP Service Pack 3 (SP3).

How to Install It?

Download Virtual PC 2004 or Virtual PC 2007 onto your computer

After Downloading you can install with simple steps.
Once you install, you can get display shows below:

 

For Creating a new Virtual Mechine
Click ‘New…’




Click ‘Next >’ on New Virtual Machine




Browse and Select a space to save virtual Mechine File



Selsect the type of Operating System u wants to install





Adjust the Ram Size of virtual PC



For Creating a new Virtual Harddisk  select 2nd option... if select that option you can adjust the harddisk size and saving loctions
Here i select 1st option because i have a virtual hardisk file



Browse and Select my Virtual hard disk file




Finish .........



Right click "My New Machine"  or start Button
Open a new window and start a PC .......
Now it’s time to install an operating system.
