Customize Windows 8 Start Screen


Windows 8 Start screen is one of the major attraction and new feature of Windows 8. Unfortunately Microsoft is not providing any direct customization option for start screen. There are only 20 designs that you can select for the Start screen’s background, no option for add custom wallpapers or desktop backgrounds that you can add to the Windows 8 start screen. Here is a small application that help you to fully customize windows 8 start screen, this also allows you to design and use your very own start screen backgrounds, all you have to do is follow the instructions on-screen.
The screenshot below showcases how the Start screen looks if you replace the custom image.

How to Backup in Windows8





This tutorial will help show you how to use or setup Windows Backup to Backup Files with the option to include a system image, and to have an automatic Scheduled or not in windows 8

How to Backup in Windows 8
Press Win Key+R  and  Type  control  press enter



Control panel window will opens , then click “Windows 7 File Recovery”

Click Setup Backup Link

Then Ready to start setup backup

Select here where we wants to save backup data .. can either select our local Drive or other Removable Disks and Network locations …. Here I select network
Select my network location to save my backup data




In this step select  what do you wants to back up, if checks 2nd option we can customize the data we wants

How to Use File History in Windows 8

 Step 1Open the Control Panel, and click on Backup your Data under System Security in Category View. You can also click on System and Security, and click on File History - Backup your Data.



Step 2. Click on Turn On, and select your location to backup files to. You can select a drive underChange Drive on the right, and even add a Network Location.





Step 3. Now that you've turned it on and selected a location, you can specify the intervals of how often it will save, and how long it will keep the saved file versions




Step 4. You can also exclude any folders or Libraries you wish to. 


Step 5. To restore files, you will select Restore personal files at the bottom left hand side of the main File History pane. 


Step 6. Once there, you can use the left or right arrow button at the bottom center to go back or forward to the desired date you wish to restore files from. 



Step 7. You can select Restore which will automatically choose the default restore location for the specific files, or choose Restore to, which you could change the location.
